Tha Marcas am measg nan òranaichean as ùr-nòsaiche air Gàidhealtachd na h-Alba. Choisinn e duais an òrain ùir aig a’ Mhòd Nàiseata Rìoghail ann an 2018 is aig a’ Mhòid Bhiortail ann an 2020.

Tha e air òrain a sgrìobhadh leis na ceòladairean as fheàrr air saoghal na Gàidhlig agus Rachel Walker, Màiri Anna NicUalraig, Ainsley Hamill agus Pàdruig Moireasdan nam measg.

Mar sheinneadair, bha e ann an cuairt dheireannach Bonn-òir a’ Chomuinn Ghaidhealaich ann an 2016 agus Bonn-òir an t-Seann-nòis ann an 2019.

Ach ’s aithne Marcas air feadh Alba mar Rìgh Pop na Gàidhlig le trì òrain shingilte gan cur a-mach – ‘Fichead ’s a h-Ochd’, ‘Bruidhinn’ is ‘Nochd’. Thathar an dùil ris a’ chlàr ùr aige ann an ùine nach bi ro fhada.

Marcas is one of Gaelic Scotland's most exciting singer-songwriters, having won the award for the best new Gaelic song at the Royal National Mòd in 2018 and the Virtual Mòd in 2020

But Marcas is known throughout Scotland as the King of Gaelic Pop, with three singles given a commercial release - 'Fiched 's a h-Ochd', 'Bruidhinn', and 'Nochd'. His forthcoming début is hotly anticipated.
